It is an absolute honor to welcome you to our school family! We are a dynamic community of over 400 students and dedicated staff members who work together each and every day. At Bonnie Grimes, our guiding mission is to provide an environment of educational excellence where all belong, all learn, and all succeed.

School safety, building meaningful relationships with our students and staff, and providing a rigorous, relevant educational experience are our top priorities. Guided by our core values of respect, student-centered, community, growth mindset, celebrations, and learning, our staff works collaboratively to design positive learning experiences tailored to meet the needs of our diverse learners.

We hold our students to high standards, encouraging them to show their Grizzly pride by being respectful, responsible, on task, and safe at all times.

We also know that a child's success is a team effort. We deeply value the connection between home and school and strive to ensure our families have a strong, active partnership with us. Together, we can make this a fantastic and growth-filled school year!

Welcome Back, Grizzlies!

We are excited to welcome our students and families for the 2026-2027 school year! Below you'll find important dates, reminders, and resources to help your family prepare for a successful start to the school year. 

Meet the Teacher Night
Monday, August 10, 2026
4:30–5:30 p.m.

Students and families are invited to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and explore the school before the first day. This is a great opportunity to become familiar with the building and start the year with confidence.

Kindergarten Parent Meeting
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
7:45 a.m.

Kindergarten families are invited to attend an important parent meeting to learn about first-week schedules, classroom expectations, transportation procedures, and meal information. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend.

First Day of School
Wednesday, August 12, 2026

Families who may qualify for meal assistance should complete a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application.

Meal benefits do not automatically carry over from year to year. Applications must be completed annually to determine eligibility.

Starting July 1, applications may be submitted online or completed in person during Meet Your Teacher Night.
